What Smart Inventory AI Does
Smart Inventory AI applies machine learning to your historical sales data to predict future demand at the product and category level. It learns the patterns that human intuition misses, seasonal shifts, day-of-week effects, promotional impacts, and long-term trends, and turns them into actionable reorder recommendations.
The system integrates directly with Store Pulse, so if you are already using our retail management tool, the setup is straightforward. It can also work as a standalone service with data imports from other systems.
How It Works
Data Ingestion: Connect your sales history. The system needs at least three months of data to start generating useful predictions, and accuracy improves continuously as more data flows in.
Pattern Recognition: Our AI models analyse your sales data to identify demand patterns across time periods, product categories, suppliers, and external factors.
Forecast Generation: Get daily, weekly, and monthly demand forecasts for every product in your catalogue, complete with confidence intervals so you know how reliable each prediction is.
Reorder Recommendations: Based on the forecasts, current stock levels, lead times, and your budget constraints, the system recommends exactly what to order and when.
Current Status
Smart Inventory AI is in active development. The core forecasting engine is built and being tested with real retail data. We are currently refining the reorder recommendation algorithm and building the user interface.
