The Problem

Every organisation drowns in documents. Policies, contracts, technical documentation, meeting notes, reports. The knowledge is there, but finding the right information when you need it means scrolling through endless files or asking someone who might remember where it was.

Traditional search only matches keywords. It cannot understand what you are actually looking for. You search for “refund policy for international orders” and get back every document that mentions “refund” or “international” without understanding the relationship between the terms.

What DocMind Does

DocMind is an AI-powered document assistant built on retrieval-augmented generation. You upload your documents, and the system reads and understands them. Then you ask questions in plain English, and DocMind gives you accurate, sourced answers drawn directly from your content.

It does not hallucinate or make things up. Every answer includes citations pointing to the exact sections of the exact documents where the information came from.

Planned Capabilities

Smart Ingestion: Upload PDFs, Word documents, text files, and more. DocMind processes them, chunks the content intelligently, and creates semantic embeddings for fast, accurate retrieval.

Natural Language Questions: Ask “What are the payment terms in our agreement with Supplier X?” and get a direct answer with the relevant contract clause cited.

Knowledge Bases: Organise documents into separate knowledge bases for different departments, projects, or clients. Each knowledge base maintains its own context.

Team Access: Share knowledge bases with team members so everyone can find the information they need without interrupting each other.

Current Status

DocMind is in the planning phase. The core RAG architecture is designed and the technology stack is selected. Development will begin once Smart Inventory AI reaches beta.
